Day 11

I am thankful for my Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm thankful for His perfect love and His perfect example. I am especially thankful for His atoning sacrifice so that I can be forgiven of my sins and return to live with Him and my Heavenly Father someday.

Day 10

I am thankful for naps. Especially on days when I don't feel good, I have a baby who is teething and wants to be held all the time, and I have a sassy three year old who thinks she is a princess and I am her servant. Yep, I am definitely thankful for naps.

Day 9

I am thankful for Ben's job. I quit my job in May to be a stay-at-home mom. On the same day I quit, Ben lost his job with the accounting firm. That was a scary time for us. We'd just had a new baby, my health insurance was ending, and neither of us had a job. I was beginning to wonder if I had made the right decision in quitting. Luckily he was only out of work for a month and was able to get a job doing the accounting for KJZZ TV in Salt Lake. Because of Ben's job, I am blessed to be able to stay home with our girls.

I am thankful for my grandparents. They are truly wonderful people and I hope I make them proud.

Day 7

I am thankful for Ben's parents. They are so supportive and willing to help with anything. I really couldn't ask for better in-laws. I love you guys!

Day 6

I am thankful for my sibblings, my two awesome little brothers (okay, they're bigger than me now), and the many brothers and sisters I gained through marriage. There's definitely a lot of them! I'm thankful for all the love and support they show to me and for all the great times we spend together. Plus, I know they've always got my back!!

Day 5

I am thankful for the seasons. I don't think I could ever live where it's always hot and sunny or cold and snowy. I love all four seasons, but each only in moderation. I definitely enjoy the change in seasons. I'm thankful for Fall after a sweltering Summer. I'm thankful for Winter after everything has turned brown and ugly and the snow makes everything beautiful again. I'm thankful for Spring when I'm sick of the freezing cold and driving in the snow. I'm thankful for Summer after a rainy, cool Spring.

Day 4

I am thankful for my dad. He's the guy who can build anything, fix anything, makes friends wherever he goes, is always helping people out, always finds a good deal, and never pays full price for anything! He's pretty much Superman! He has taught me many things such as, how to check the oil in my car, how to shoot a gun, and how to ride a 4-wheeler. He has also taught me how to work hard, to be responsible, to be respectful, and to serve others. He is a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He is such a great example to me and I love him so much!

Day 3

I am thankful for my mom. She is the most selfless person I know. She is always doing things for other people. Now that I am a mother I appreciate even more the sacrifices she has made for me and my brothers. I am proud to say that she is one of my best friends. I love the time we get to spend together and I love watching her with my girls. She is an awesome grandma! I love you mom!

Day 2

I am thankful for my eternal companion. Ben is such a wonderful husband and father. He makes me so happy! I am so glad I get to be with him forever!

The Twelve Days of Thanksgiving - Day 1

I am thankful for my children. I feel so incredibly blessed to be a mother. These two little girls bring so much joy to my life and I love them more than words can express.
